Studio 8 to Remake Nosferatu


Good news for horror fans, following the Studio 8 release of the hilarious What We Do In the Shadows, the studio has now announced that they are remaking the 1922 classic Nosferatu and it will be written and directed by Robert Eggers.

According to the press release, this will be a visceral adaptation of F. W. Murnau’s 1922 silent film masterpiece that brings the horrific vampire of Eastern European folklore back to the screen.

Jay Van Hoy & Lars Knudsen’s Parts and Labor will produce.

The chilling and eerie version of Stoker's Dracula is a silent masterpiece of terror which still to this day is thought of as the most original and frightening portrayal of the legend.
