Undo Button Finally Arrives on Gmail
Did you ever regret sending an email in the heat of the moment? Sent something embarrassing to the wrong person? Worded something a bit too strongly for it's recipient?
Gmail now allows you to un-send emails with up to a 30 second window
So how do you enable Gmail’s undo feature?
Simply go to the little cog icon in the upper righthand corner and select “Settings.” About a third of the way down the page you’ll see the “Undo Send” section. You can choose between 5, 10, 20 and 30 second windows of unsendability (no that's not a real word).
Remember to “Save Changes” at the bottom and you’re all done.
Then, the next time you hit send on an email that you probably shouldn’t have, you’ve got exactly that many seconds to change your mind and hit the undo button at the top of the page.
However if you decide after 31 seconds that maybe you shouldn’t have called your boss a boring parrot faced twazzock for not allowing you time off, then you’re out of luck, sadly technology can’t solve all your problems.
