Erasmus+, not only for university students!
Erasmus+ is open to all young people, not just those involved in education or training.
With Erasmus+, you can volunteer in Europe or outside of Europe or participate in a youth exchange abroad.
Erasmus+ Volunteering Activities are open to young people aged 17-30 and let you travel abroad for a period between 2 weeks and 12 months to participate in a project on a voluntary basis.
A wide variety of projects are available in many areas such as social care, the environment and culture.
Youth exchanges allow groups of young people from different countries to meet and live together for up to 21 days. On a youth exchange, you can expect to participate in activities such as workshops, exercises, debates, role-plays, outdoor activities, etc.
A.C.S.E.S.O, in Gran Canaria, supports hundreds of young people in Spain to prepare for and access these opportunities. We are dedicated to helping young people to learn new skills, improve their employment prospects, gain new opportunities and discover their own life path.
When a young person has the opportunity to travel through EVS or a Youth Exchange, they are never the same again. Most return with more confidence, more understanding about the world, and many new skills that they can reference in a job application.
Erasmus has helped so many young people and we continue to work hard promoting it in The Canary Islands and Spain and supporting our community to access these opportunities.
