European Voluntary Service, a volunteer's perspective.

At A.C.S.E.S.O, we support young people aged 18-30 to access opportunities in other countries. One of these programmes is European Voluntary Service or EVS as it's normally referred to.

It is a wonderful programme that gives the opportunity to travel to another country, learn new skills, help other people, learn a new language and gain an understanding of other cultures.

There are opportunities to volunteer in many different areas, such as agriculture, childcare, culture, environmental projects, youth work and others.

One of the recent projects that we are working on is with an organisation called Vitatiim in Estonia. They provide placements around Estonia in schools and other organisations and one of the volunteers, Nelly, recently sent this video about her project and experience in Estonia.

Please take the time to have a look and share with other young people that would benefit from EVS.
